Sergej Jakirović leads Hull City to strong Premier League start

Hull City manager Sergej Jakirović has overseen a strong start to the Premier League season, securing eight points from five matches. Under his leadership, the team has surprised expectations by sitting in the upper half of the table, currently in eighth place.

Key results during this period include a victory against Manchester United and a win over Coventry, alongside draws against Chelsea and Aston Villa. The team's only defeat came against Newcastle. Jakirović expressed satisfaction with the team's growth and performance, noting that despite being predicted for relegation in July, the squad has shown significant dominance in recent matches.

Amidst growing interest from larger clubs due to his success, Jakirović stated he remains focused on his current role at Hull City. He noted that while he is happy with the progress made together, he will address potential future steps when the time is right.
