Sergej Jakirović makes headlines at Hull City press conference

Hull City manager Sergej Jakirović has become a focal point of media attention following a successful start to the Premier League season. Jakirović, the first Croatian to be named Premier League Manager of the Month, has led his team to an unbeaten run, securing eight points from their first four matches, including victories over Manchester United and Coventry.

During a pre-match press conference ahead of a fixture against Newcastle, Jakirović humorously reacted to seeing a microphone from the Croatian broadcaster RTL. He jokingly asked whether he should speak in English or Croatian, prompting a lighthearted response from the conference moderator who reminded him to stick to English for the benefit of the club's global YouTube audience.
