Sergejs Fedotovs and company provided material support to Russian military

Sergejs Fedotovs, the father of Latvian politician Jūlija Stepaņenko, and his company, ‘Forma ŽBI’, have provided material support to the Russian military during the war in Ukraine for several years. According to reports, the company has produced anti-tank obstacles and furnaces since 2022.

Fedotov confirmed his identity to ‘The Insider’ and stated that his company is capable of producing over 150 concrete structures per day. These concrete obstacles have been sent to the Belgorod region and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk. Additionally, the company has been involved in manufacturing metal components and assembling furnaces that are subsequently sent to the front lines.

Fedotov has also provided logistical support through the ‘Varonība’ (Bravery) fund, including donating vehicles such as a ‘GAZ Sobol’ valued at one million rubles. These vehicles have been used by Russian combat units, including the ‘BARS’ units. It has also been reported that Fedotov transferred a Riga apartment to his daughter, Stepaņenko, following travel restrictions.
