Sergey Lavrov claims no one in Europe is available for negotiation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that there is currently no one in Europe with whom Russia can negotiate. Speaking at a United Russia party congress, Lavrov claimed that Western nations have never abandoned their goal to punish and weaken Russia, accusing them of waging war against Moscow using Ukrainian forces while simultaneously arming the Kyiv regime.

Lavrov emphasized that Russia is not seeking isolation and is instead working toward a ‘great Eurasian partnership’ and a new Eurasian security architecture. He noted that while the global economy has become fragmented, Russia must ensure it does not rely on hostile nations for essential developmental needs.

He expressed that Moscow is not closing its doors to anyone, suggesting that relations could improve if European nations prioritize their own national interests over the interests of the Brussels bureaucracy. Additionally, Lavrov dismissed Western attempts to incite panic ahead of the State Duma elections, stating such efforts have zero chance of success.
