Sergi Francolí wins 5th Rally de les Masies de Voltregà

Sergi Francolí and co-driver Xevi Moreno won the 5th Rally de les Masies de Voltregà driving a Toyota Yaris Rally2. The victory followed a competitive race where Francolí maintained a narrow lead over runner-up Jordan Berfa and co-driver Kevin Mandrico, who finished just three seconds behind.

The event, which featured Manlleu and Taradell as key locations, faced weather challenges including fog, humidity, and heavy rain. Due to torrential rain and safety concerns regarding public mobility and evacuation, local authorities suspended the final scheduled timed stage, bringing the rally to an early conclusion.

Francolí established an early advantage during the Friday night stage, gaining 17 seconds on Berfa. Although Berfa dominated several stages on Saturday, he was unable to close the gap sufficiently before the weather-induced cancellation.
