Sergio De Larrea debuts for Dallas Mavericks in preseason loss to Houston

Spanish rookie Sergio De Larrea made his preseason debut for the Dallas Mavericks in Macau, China, during a matchup against the Houston Rockets. Playing 24 minutes, De Larrea recorded 11 points, including three successful three-pointers, along with six assists, two rebounds, and one steal.

The Mavericks lost the contest 135-117. While De Larrea showed strong performance, the Rockets maintained control throughout the game, led by Tari Eason's 20 points and Alperen Sengun's triple-double of 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Other Mavericks players, including Santi Aldama, did not participate in the game.

De Larrea, selected 25th in the recent NBA draft, continues to build on the momentum from his Summer League performance. The two teams are scheduled to meet again this Sunday in Macau to conclude their preseason stay.
