Sergio de Larrea makes difficult NBA debut with Dallas Mavericks

Spanish guard Sergio de Larrea experienced a challenging debut in the NBA during the Dallas Mavericks' 128-110 loss to the Houston Rockets. The 20-year-old, a former Valencia Basket player, played seven minutes in the matchup.

During his limited time on the court, De Larrea recorded two rebounds and one assist but failed to score, missing his only field goal attempt. While he had shown promise in preseason games in China, the transition to official NBA competition proved difficult.

The Rockets were led by Kevin Durant, who scored 30 points, and Cooper Flagg, who contributed 32 points. Meanwhile, Dallas relied on Marcus Sasser for bench production, with the American guard scoring 17 points in 24 minutes.
