Judicial authorities conduct regional visits and public hearings across Latin America
Judicial leaders in several Latin American regions are implementing initiatives to increase accessibility and infrastructure. In the State of Mexico, Magistrate President Héctor Macedo García led the sixth session of the Citizen Audiences program in Ixtlahuaca. This initiative, which began in 2025, has allowed the Superior Court of Justice to engage directly with residents in municipalities such as Toluca, Texcoco, and Ecatepec to address concerns regarding the administration of justice.
In Argentina, Sergio Gabriel Torres, President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Province of Buenos Aires, conducted an institutional agenda in the Bahía Blanca judicial department. This included meetings with various magistrates and the opening of the XX Peace Justice Encounter in Sierra de la Ventana, where Torres emphasized the importance of peace justice as a primary point of access for local communities.
In Paraguay, Supreme Court Minister César M. Diesel Junghanns coordinated infrastructure projects in Alto Paraná, including the planned construction of a judicial headquarters in Hernandarias and the final stages of a new site in Naranjal. Meanwhile, in Chaco, Argentina, Judge Iride Isabel María Grillo inspected the Multifueros Court in Misión Nueva Pompeya to evaluate its support for local and indigenous communities.
