Sergio Massa meets with Peronist Mayors' League

Sergio Massa, leader of the Frente Renovador, met with the Liga de Intendentes Peronistas in San Fernando to discuss the political and economic future of Peronism. The meeting, hosted by Mayor Juan Andreotti, included several municipal leaders known as the ‘Grupo AFA’.

Economic discussions focused on macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions, specifically addressing rising household debt and the daily financial struggles of citizens. The participants also discussed fiscal situations and strategic infrastructure projects in the Buenos Aires province, such as Ruta 6 and Camino del Buen Ayre-Perón.

Politically, the meeting aimed to position Peronism as a competitive alternative to the government of Javier Milei. The Liga and Frente Renovador emphasized the importance of Peronist unity amidst internal tensions between factions such as La Cámpora and the administration of Governor Axel Kicillof.
