Sergio Moro proposes new observatories for Paraná
Governor-elect Sergio Moro has outlined a government plan to establish three new observatories in Paraná, focusing on infrastructure, labor, and education. These structures are intended to monitor, collect, and analyze public data to support policy formulation and social oversight.
The proposed Infrastructure Observatory is modeled after the Toll Observatory (Observatório dos Pedágios) launched by the Federation of Industries of Paraná (Fiep). The Fiep model provides a digital platform that simplifies complex highway concession contracts, allowing the public to monitor tolls, bidding processes, and construction progress.
These new initiatives aim to expand the existing data monitoring landscape in the state, which currently includes academic and governmental projects such as the Metropolitan Observatory and the Smart Cities Observatory.
