He emphasized that competing at the pinnacle of the sport, even while fighting at the back of the grid, provides unique professional satisfaction and the opportunity to build something from the ground up.

Comparing the situation to Aston Martin’s recent progress, Perez highlighted how technical upgrades can shift a team's trajectory. He indicated that he could potentially continue racing for another three years, depending on his drive and ability to focus on the team's goals.
