Sergio Perez warns Cadillac of 'last chance' at Singapore GP

The Singapore Grand Prix weekend has been marked by challenges for the Cadillac Formula 1 team. Driver Sergio Perez described the Marina Bay Street Circuit as a “last chance” for the General Motors-backed project to secure its first championship points of the season, noting the team is arriving without new updates.

During Sprint Qualifying, Perez crashed into a wall at Turn 5, causing a red flag to clear debris. While he managed to return to the track after repairs, he finished 20th in the session. The incident also led to Max Verstappen being placed under investigation by stewards after he reportedly overtook Lewis Hamilton under yellow flags during the session.

In a lighter moment, Cadillac shared footage of Perez playing a prank on teammate Valtteri Bottas involving a toy snake. Despite the technical difficulties and the high-pressure Sprint format, the team remains focused on improving performance for the main race on Sunday.
