Sergio Vargas announces upcoming merengue concerts

Merengue artist Sergio Vargas has announced two upcoming performances in the Dominican Republic. On September 10, 2026, Vargas will perform at Lungomare Bar & Lounge as part of his “Grandes Historias” show. The event will feature his “Filarmónica de Villa Altagracia” and will include material from his recent album, “De todo un poco,” which features a mix of merengue, ballads, and bachata.

Additionally, Vargas is scheduled to perform alongside Manny Manuel in a concert titled “Junte de Ídolos” on October 31, 2026, at the Hard Rock Café Santo Domingo. This event, produced by Valenzuela Productions, commemorates the 11th anniversary of the program “Aquí está el merengue.” Both artists are expected to perform a wide repertoire of their career hits.
