Sergipe gubernatorial race shows tight contest between Mitidieri and Francisquinho

A new Real Time Big Data poll indicates a tight race for the governorship of Sergipe. Current Governor Fábio Mitidieri (PSD) leads the first round with 43% of the intended votes, followed by former Itabaiana mayor Valmir de Francisquinho (Republicanos) at 38%. The difference between the two candidates falls within the margin of error.

In a simulated second-round runoff, Mitidieri holds 46% against Francisquinho’s 43%. Other candidates include Ricardo Marques (PL) with 10% and Dr. Helton (PSOL) with 3%.

Regarding the Senate race, Delegate André David (Republicanos) leads with 18%, followed by a competitive field including Alessandro Vieira (MDB), Rogério Carvalho (PT), and André Moura (União Brasil).
