Sergipe police identify man missing from São Paulo for four years

The Identification Institute of the Sergipe Scientific Police has successfully identified a man who had been missing from São Paulo for four years. The individual was found living in a vulnerable state, frequenting bus stops in the 13 de Julho neighborhood of Aracaju.

Authorities utilized fingerprint analysis to confirm his identity after collecting samples at Hospital São José, where he was receiving medical care. The identification process involved collaboration between the Sergipe and São Paulo forensic teams. Following the confirmation, the case was referred to police authorities and social services to ensure the man receives necessary public assistance and legal rights.
