Serie A analysis: Inter favored for title as Napoli and Juventus eye Europe

Stefano Barigelli, director of La Gazzetta dello Sport, provided an analysis of the current Serie A landscape during the Trento Festival. He identified Inter Milan as the primary team to beat for the Scudetto.

Regarding Napoli, Barigelli suggested the club may face a more difficult season than previous years due to an aging squad and contractual uncertainties. However, he noted that club president Aurelio De Laurentiis remains highly focused on reaching the Champions League knockout stages.

For Juventus, Barigelli stated that the club is currently focused on Champions League contention rather than the title race. While he believes Juventus faces significant challenges this season, he expects them to be competitive for the Scudetto in the future following recent rebuilding efforts. Additionally, he commented on Roma's strong start and the management decisions at Fiorentina.
