Serie A calendar imbalance criticized by Franco Ordine

Journalist Franco Ordine has criticized the Serie A match calendar, alleging a significant imbalance in the distribution of home and away fixtures for Milanese clubs Inter and AC Milan.

Ordine pointed out that AC Milan faces a difficult start to the season, noting the team will play five away matches within the first eight rounds. He argued that focusing solely on the total number of home and away games throughout the season ignores the technical difficulty of the early schedule.

In contrast, Ordine highlighted a perceived advantage for Inter, stating the club will play seven matches at San Siro within the first eleven rounds. He suggested that the scheduling logic lacks natural intelligence and proposed the use of artificial intelligence to create more balanced calendars.
