Serie A clubs complete loan buyout moves for Daffara, Zaniolo and others

Avellino exercised its buy‑out option on goalkeeper Giovanni Daffara, sending the 2004‑born player back to Juventus. Udinese and Cagliari have also shown interest. At the same time, striker Valerio Crespi’s loan with Union Brescia, which included an option to buy, was made permanent, giving Avellino a profit of about €0.5 million plus a 20 % share of any future sale. Several other loanees – Tribuzzi, Panico, D’Ausilio and Maisto – are returning to their parent clubs.

Udinese completed the purchase of forward Nicolò Zaniolo from Galatasaray, paying roughly €5 million with a clause that grants the Turkish club 50 % of any future resale. Zaniolo signed a contract running to June 2029, but his agent said the player feels the agreed salary is too low and is seeking a renegotiation.

Both deals illustrate the active use of loan‑to‑buy clauses in Serie A this season.
