Serie A clubs finalize coaching appointments as Monza eyes Gilardino

Serie A clubs have largely settled the coaching carousel. Sassuolo announced former midfielder Alberto Aquilani as head coach, while Torino confirmed Ignazio Abate after a prolonged search. In Monza, long‑time coach Giovanni Bianco resigned, citing a desire to return to Serie B with Pisa. The club accepted his departure and is reportedly close to hiring former Italy striker Alberto Gilardino, who has made himself available and is viewed as the leading candidate.
