Frosinone defeats Como 2-0 in Serie A

Frosinone secured a 2-0 victory against Como in a Serie A match at the Benito Stirpe Stadium. The goals were scored by Giacomo Calò in the 14th minute and Giorgi Kvernadze in the 45th minute. Frosinone goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani delivered a standout performance, making several critical saves to maintain a clean sheet and prevent Como from equalizing.

Following the match, Como manager Cesc Fabregas expressed frustration, describing the performance as a failure to effectively prepare the squad and acknowledging Frosinone’s tactical superiority. Frosinone, led by coach Massimiliano Alvini, has reached 10 points through five matches, placing them in a strong position in the standings.

The victory marks the first defeat for Como this season. Meanwhile, the Italian league is entering an international break, which will see over 200 players called up to national teams, significantly reducing squad availability for clubs like AC Milan and Inter.
