Serie A market trends show rising youth focus and shifting squad values

The 2026 Italian football market is highlighting a significant focus on Under-21 talents and shifting squad valuations across Serie A. Key young players such as Francesco Camarda, who has secured a contract with Milan until 2031, and Mattia Liberali, who joined Como, are central to club strategies.

In terms of economic valuation, Napoli has seen a 10.1% decline in squad value, dropping to 441.65 million euros and falling to sixth place in the league rankings. This decline is attributed to an aging squad and recent player departures. Meanwhile, Inter Milan maintains the highest squad value at 711.80 million euros, followed by AC Milan and Juventus. Notably, Como and Roma have both surpassed Napoli in market value, with Como seeing a 16% increase to 498 million euros due to ambitious summer investments.
