Serie A players continue to benefit from Decreto Crescita

Although the Decreto Crescita was officially abolished on January 1, 2024, the policy remains active for existing contracts that met specific conditions prior to the change. This lack of retroactivity allows players with pre-existing agreements to continue benefiting from the tax measures.

An analysis of Serie A wage structures for the 2026/27 season reveals that 84 active contracts still fall under this decree. Every team in the league currently has at least one player benefiting from these terms. Notable examples include Éderson at Atalanta, with a contract running until 2031, and Moise Kean at Como, whose agreement extends to 2027.
