Serie A top scorers Antonio Raimondo and Gustavo Varela draw attention

Serie A is seeing a rise in new scoring leaders, notably Antonio Raimondo of Frosinone and Gustavo Varela of Monza.

Antonio Raimondo, owned by Bologna, has scored seven goals in his first eight appearances. His physical development has been aided by unconventional training methods, including mixed martial arts (MMA) grappling to improve isometric strength and balance, as well as visual training with stroboscopic glasses to enhance reaction times.

Meanwhile, Monza striker Gustavo Varela has emerged as a solo top scorer with 10 goals in nine appearances. His rapid rise has attracted interest from Napoli, who are reportedly looking for a striker to provide rotation for Hojlund. Given his performance, analysts suggest his market value could increase significantly from the 2.5 million euro fee Monza paid for him in the summer.
