Serie B 2026/27 season schedule and pre‑season retreats confirmed

The Italian Serie B (2026/27) has released its official calendar. The league will kick off on 22 August 2026 and conclude with the final round of the regular season on the weekend of 14‑16 May 2027. A traditional Boxing Day match is set for 27 December 2026, followed by a winter break from 28 December to 8 January 2027. Four mid‑week fixtures are scheduled for 27 Oct, 24 Nov, 8 Dec 2026 and 2 Mar 2027. The season will pause for international windows from 21 Sept‑6 Oct 2026, 9‑17 Nov 2026 and 22‑30 Mar 2027.

Nine Serie B clubs have chosen Alpine locations in Trentino‑Alto Adige for their summer training camps, with additional retreats in Lombardy, Umbria and other regions. Teams such as Ascoli, Palermo, Hellas Verona and others will train in venues ranging from Val Gardena to Val d’Aosta, aiming to stay close to their fan bases while preparing for the new campaign.
