Serie B clubs make transfer moves as Avellino Primavera group unveiled for 2026‑27

Serie B clubs are active in the market ahead of the 2026‑27 season. Ascoli is evaluating Juventus Next Gen striker Nikolaos Anghelè, while Roberto Insigne has completed a medical and signed with Sampdoria after leaving Pescara. Sampdoria is also scouting Dutch forward Douglas, and several clubs – Padova, Juventus Stabia, Venezia, and others – are negotiating for players such as Niccolò Mosti, Alessandro Plizzari and Kenny Mixture.

The Lega Serie B has announced the composition of the Primavera 2 Girone B for the upcoming season. Four Campania teams – Avellino, Benevento, Napoli and Salernitana – will compete together with twelve other clubs from Central‑South Italy. The group’s schedule runs from 5 September 2026 to 8 May 2027, with defined winter and holiday breaks and playoffs in May.
