Serie C clubs Casarano and Bari target new signings in summer transfer window

Italian Serie C side Casarano is preparing to reinforce its midfield by pursuing former Monza midfielder José Machín. The 1996‑born versatile player spent last season with Vis Pesaro after a career that includes 37 appearances in Serie A and 135 in Serie B, offering experience that the Pugliese club hopes will boost its central areas.

At the same time, striker Karlo Butic of Casertana failed to attend the club’s pre‑season training, a move interpreted as a clear indication of his wish to join fellow Serie C club Bari. Negotiations over the player's valuation and contract terms are reportedly advanced, with both clubs aiming to finalise the deal quickly ahead of the new campaign.
