Serie C clubs Macerata and Cavese unveil player signings and new head coach

Maceratese announced three new signings ahead of the 2026/27 season: midfielder Marco D’Aloia, forward Alessio Re and winger Lorenzo Pesaresi. D’Aloia, a former Parma youth product with experience in Serie B, C and D, said he was "excited to start" with the club. Cavese appointed former player Cristiano Masitto as its new head coach for the upcoming Serie C campaign. The 57‑year‑old Milan‑born manager, who has coached several lower‑division clubs including Feralpisalò and Triestina, said he is "happy and proud to begin this new adventure" and aims to build a team reflecting the club’s values of sacrifice, organization and belonging.
