Serie D clubs Vigor Lamezia and Vibonese add key players ahead of 2026/27 season
Italian Serie D side Vigor Lamezia announced three new signings as it builds its squad for the 2026‑2027 campaign. Forward Antonio Ranieri, a 2003‑born talent with 12 goals for Isola Capo Rizzuto, joins the attack. Left‑back Octavio Casalongue arrives from experience in Serie D’s Group I, and central defender Vincenzo Ciriello adds physicality and leadership after stints with Casertana, Cittadella and amateur clubs.
Vibonese also reinforced its roster, signing Argentine midfielder Sebastian Piriz (born 1998). Piriz, who helped Sambiase win the Eccellenza title and later starred for Martina in Serie D, brings tactical intelligence and stamina to the midfield. The club’s sporting director Fabrizio Maglia describes the addition as a key element for a balanced, competitive side in the upcoming Serie D Group I season.
