Serik bakers reduce bread prices to 10 TL amid competition

In the Serik district of Antalya, a local bakery has reduced the price of a 200-gram loaf of bread from 17.5 TL to 10 TL. Bakery owner Turan Öztepe stated that the price reduction was a response to unfair competition initiated by other local bakeries.

Öztepe emphasized that the lower price is not a temporary promotional campaign and that the bakery intends to continue selling bread at the 10 TL rate. The price drop has resulted in long queues of customers, particularly large families, seeking fresh bread throughout the day.
