Serik car dealership arson leads to arrest of suspect

A suspect has been arrested after setting fire to six vehicles at a car dealership in the Serik district of Antalya. The incident occurred at a dealership located in the Yeni Mahalle area on the Antalya-Alanya D400 highway.

Security camera footage captured the individual arriving at the premises with a gasoline canister, pouring the flammable liquid over the vehicles, and igniting them before fleeing the scene. Following the fire, local firefighters responded to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby businesses. However, all six vehicles were rendered unusable by the blaze.

The suspect, identified as Serkan K, surrendered to the Serik District Police Department. Following legal proceedings, he was formally arrested by the court.
