Serious road accidents reported in Var, France

Two separate serious road accidents occurred in the Var region of France on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

In Saint-Zacharie, a 61-year-old cyclist was seriously injured on the RD 480 around midday. Emergency responders, including ten rescuers and the Samu Spinal 90 helicopter, were deployed to the scene.

Earlier that morning, near Brue-Auriac on the RD 560, two motorcyclists approximately 40 years old lost control of their vehicles. Both men were seriously injured. The rescue operation involved 13 firefighters, multiple ambulances, and the Dragon 13 civil security helicopter.
