SERIS internal promotion process faces delays, union claims

The Central Sindical Independiente y de Funcionarios (CSIF) has denounced significant delays in the internal promotion process for administrative staff within the Riojan Health Service (SERIS). The selection process, originally announced on June 25, 2025, has remained unresolved for over a year following a temporary judicial halt.

Although the merits phase concluded in early April 2026, the administration has yet to publish final lists or resolve the process. The union claims this delay causes economic harm to workers by withholding appropriate professional category pay and negatively impacts seniority for future transfers and professional development milestones. CSIF has demanded the immediate resolution of the process and the publication of a takeover schedule.
