Serra de' Conti celebrates 20th anniversary of NotteNera festival

The NotteNera festival celebrated its 20th anniversary in Serra de' Conti with a wide range of artistic events and high public participation. The anniversary edition featured art tours led by artistic directors Sabrina Maggiori and Carolina Mancini, showcasing installations in churches and historic buildings, including works by Anna Capolupo, Goele Dewanckel, Stefano Fiorina, and Alessandra Stefanini.

Special highlights included a site-specific work titled ‘L’albero delle stelle’ by Carmine Bellucci, which will remain on display at the Santa Croce church until September 20. The festival also featured performing arts, such as Andrea Cosentino’s AI-integrated show, shadow puppetry by Drew Colby, and performances by the Menoventi company.

In memory of late co-founder Paula Carbini, the event included readings at the Via Garibaldi staircase. Musical performances took place in Piazzetta Belvedere, featuring various artists ranging from folk and rap to singer-songwriter styles.
