Serra Dourada Complex modernization enters foundation phase

Modernization works at the Serra Dourada Complex in Goiânia have progressed to the foundation stage for the new lower stands and future VIP box areas. The project, which began in July, involves simultaneous interventions at the stadium, the internal rings, and the Goiânia Arena.

The requalification represents a private investment of approximately R$ 400 million. Current works include the finishing stages for modernized bars and bathrooms in the internal rings, as well as logistical improvements to the Southwest Tunnel to accommodate heavy vehicles for large-scale events.

Governor Daniel Vilela recently inspected the site, noting that the project is currently ahead of schedule with an expected completion date of July 2028.
