Serra Gaúcha expands wine tourism with Parque do Caracol tasting trail and Don Giovanni winter festival

Parque do Caracol in Canela, Rio Grande do Sul, launched the "Janela Jolimont" experience, a wine‑tasting circuit that lets visitors move through the park while sampling wines and sparkling wines from the Jolimont winery. The service costs R$ 55 for the first glass and R$ 35 for each refill at three designated points in the park. The initiative, described by park manager Sandra Ferraz, aims to blend enogastronomy with the natural setting of the Cascata do Caracol and is part of the park’s broader development under Grupo Iter.

The 5th Festa das Safras – Winter Edition will be held on 22 August 2026 at the Don Giovanni winery in Pinto Bandeira. The event offers an open bar and open food, featuring award‑winning wines such as Don Giovanni Pinot Noir Rosé and Stravaganzza Brut. Chef Rafael Jacobi will provide a menu designed to pair with the wines, and the musical program includes a tribute to Elvis Presley by Johnny Grace Elvis & Banda. The festival is pet‑friendly and admits guests aged 10 and older with tickets sold in limited batches.
