The Municipality of Serres and the local community of Serres are organizing the 1st Book Festival, scheduled to take place from Friday, October 23, to Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Eleftherias Square. The event is designed to celebrate knowledge, reading, and culture.

The festival will feature participation from various bookstores, publishing houses, and authors. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to presenting works by local Serres authors, including Dimitris Sakislidis, Dimitris Deligiorgis, Sotiria Kyrmanidou, and Olga Pyrza.
