Sertã hosts Descida do Picoto mountain biking event

The Descida do Picoto mountain biking event is scheduled to return to Sertã on October 4. Organized by the Selinda BTT association with support from the Municipality of Sertã, the non-competitive ride covers a 33 km route through rural paths and trails across various parishes.

The event is designed for participants of different experience levels, featuring a low-to-medium difficulty course. Registration is limited to 300 participants at a cost of 21€ and must be completed online by September 29.

Participants will gather at Alameda da Carvalha at 7:30 AM, with transport provided to the top of Serra do Cabeço Rainho for the start of the descent at 8:30 AM. The route remains open to traffic, and cyclists are expected to follow all circulation rules.
