Sertã hosts Wakeboard Cable Championship 2026

The Wakeboard Cable Championship 2026 took place at the Trízio Cable Park in Sertã, Portugal. The three-day event combined professional competition with open days designed to promote the sport to new practitioners.

International athlete Sanne Meijer from the Netherlands secured first place in the Women’s Open category. In the Men’s Open category, Francisco Limão took the top spot, while Gonçalo Mateus won the Junior division. Daniel Braga was the winner of the Wakeskate category.

The event was organized by Endless Wakeboard under the auspices of the Portuguese Motorboat Federation, with support from the Municipality of Sertã and the Portuguese Wake Association.
