Sertã library to host financial literacy workshop for youth

The Padre Manuel Antunes Municipal Library in Sertã will host a financial literacy workshop led by Paulo Ferreira on October 24. This specific session is designed for young adults aged 15 to 20 to provide essential knowledge for managing personal finances responsibly.

The workshop will cover topics ranging from basic daily financial concepts and money management to the prudent use of bank credit, savings, and investments. The initiative aims to combat what Ferreira describes as the “analfabetismo do século XXI” (illiteracy of the 21st century). Participation is free, though mandatory registration is required by October 22.
