Service Girl Indian series exposes AI-fueled cybercrime against women

The Indian web series "Service Girl", starring actress Khushi Dubey, dramatizes the growing threat of AI-generated deepfakes and other cyber‑crimes that target young women. Dubey says the series is meant to show how fake explicit photos and videos can ruin lives, leading to broken marriages, job loss, social ostracism and even suicide.

In the series Dubey plays Divya, a simple girl from Prayagraj whose reputation is destroyed after AI‑manipulated content about her goes viral. The show aims to raise awareness of these risks and encourage society to support victims rather than blame them.
