Service disruptions planned for Corrientes, Bogotá, and Bucaramanga

Several regions in South America are implementing service disruptions and traffic restrictions during the October holiday period.

In Argentina, the Dirección Provincial de Energía de Corrientes (DPEC) has scheduled power outages in seven towns, including Riachuelo, San Cayetano, and Colonia Carlos Pellegrini, for maintenance of medium-voltage lines and transformer stations between October 10 and 13.

In Colombia, Bogotá is implementing regional 'pico y placa' traffic restrictions to manage vehicle flow during the holiday return. On October 12, restrictions will apply to specific corridors based on license plate numbers. Regular weekly restrictions also apply from October 13 to 18.

Additionally, Bucaramanga will experience temporary power outages between October 10 and 12 due to preventive maintenance and network modernization by the Electrificadora de Santander. Bucaramanga will also resume its standard 'pico y placa' vehicle rotation on October 13.
