ServiceNow unveils headless AI‑agent platform and AI‑driven CPQ at Knowledge 2026

At the Knowledge 2026 conference in Las Vegas, ServiceNow detailed a shift toward a headless architecture called Action Fabric, opening its entire workflow, playbook and business‑process system to AI agents—both built‑in and third‑party. The move aims to let agents retrieve and act on contextual data across the enterprise, leveraging the ServiceNow Service Graph and recent acquisitions such as Armis and Veza.

The company also showcased an AI‑powered configure‑price‑quote (CPQ) solution that automates configuration, pricing, approvals and quote creation, positioning CPQ as an AI‑driven front door to revenue. ServiceNow presented the broader vision of the platform as an autonomous operating layer where context fuels intelligence and AI agents execute work, extending beyond traditional IT service management into security, CRM, portfolio management and digital workplaces.
