ServiceValue study identifies top insurance providers for 2026

A study titled ‘Best Insurers 2026,’ conducted by ServiceValue in cooperation with the F.A.Z. Institute, has identified leading insurance providers across 24 different sectors. The analysis was based on approximately 98,000 customer reviews regarding 833 insurance products, focusing on contracts from the previous 24 months.

Ammerländer Versicherung achieved the highest overall satisfaction score across all categories with a mean value of 2.05 in the e-bike insurance segment. Other top performers included linexo by WERTGARANTIE in the e-bike sector and VPV Versicherungen in household insurance.

In specific categories, Debeka led in both private health insurance (2.13) and private long-term care insurance (2.19). Other sector leaders included LV 1871 for occupational disability insurance, LVM Versicherung for occupational pension schemes and service-oriented motor vehicle insurance, and R+V for private pension insurance. Allianz Direct was identified as the leader among direct motor vehicle insurers.
