Servicio de Salud Chiloé presents 2025 public account, noting network growth and low‑view YouTube format

The Servicio de Salud Chiloé delivered its 2025 public account through a 35‑minute YouTube video posted on Thursday. Four hours after publication the video had recorded only 18 views and the format did not include an open public meeting; participation was limited to an online form on the institution’s website.

Director Francisco Camilo Díaz also presented the account, reporting more than 208,000 urgent consultations, 251,000 general medical consultations, 116,000 specialty consultations, 14,627 surgeries and over three million diagnostic procedures during 2025. He highlighted the strengthening of the regional health network, decentralisation of high‑complexity services, the introduction of new technologies, the establishment of a new oncology reference service and an ambulatory chemotherapy unit, and advances in digital health. The presentation was linked from the health service’s website.
