SESA conducts sexual diversity workshops in San Juan del Río

The Querétaro State Health Secretariat (SESA) conducted workshops on sexual diversity and non-discrimination at the Universidad Tecnológica de San Juan del Río. The initiative aimed to promote human rights and foster safe, inclusive, and respectful educational environments for students.

Coordinated by Manuel Edmundo Ramos Gutiérrez, the sessions addressed the right of all individuals to receive dignified treatment and equal opportunities regardless of sexual orientation. The workshops analyzed cultural, sexist, and patriarchal prejudices that can lead to discrimination and violence against bisexual individuals and the broader LGBTIQ+ community.

These activities were held in observance of International Bisexuality Day, observed on September 23, to promote non-discrimination and prevent violence related to sexual orientation.
