Sesc and Senac launch new educational initiatives in Rio de Janeiro
Sesc and Senac RJ have begun enrollment for new educational programs at the former Gama Filho University campus in Piedade, Rio de Janeiro. The project involves recovering the abandoned 23,000 square meter complex to create an integrated center. Initial offerings include daycare, preschool, elementary school, and technical high school courses focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Administration.
The Piedade complex will feature maker laboratories, digital culture environments, and science and technology spaces. Facilities are planned to include a theater, library, food court, a multi-sport gymnasium for 1,450 spectators, and an aquatic park with an Olympic-sized pool.
Additionally, Senac RJ has opened a revitalized unit in Duque de Caxias. This 3,400 square meter facility offers courses in technology, health, beauty, communication, administration, gastronomy, and fashion. The unit is equipped with modern laboratories and is designed to accommodate over 1,400 students daily.
