Sesc opens registration for community futsal and volleyball tournaments across Brazil
Sesc Rio de Janeiro announced registrations for the 14th edition of the Copa Sesc de Futsal Masculino, a competition for workers in commerce, services and tourism. The tournament runs from 4 August to 18 October 2026, with regional stages in nine municipalities – Barra Mansa, Niterói, Petrópolis, Nova Friburgo, Rio de Janeiro, São Gonçalo, São João de Meriti, Teresópolis and Três Rios. Winners advance to a final stage at the Sesc hotel in Petrópolis on 16 and 18 October. Teams may field up to 15 players in the regional phase and 10 in the final; participants must be at least 18 years old and hold a full Sesc credential. Sesc will cover transport, lodging and meals for teams reaching the final.
Sesc Alta Floresta in Mato Grosso opened sign‑ups for men’s and women’s volleyball games scheduled for August 2023. Registration closes on 31 July at the Sesc unit. Up to four teams per gender may enter, each represented by a single contact who provides the required documentation. Players must be 18 or older. The entry fee is R$ 80 for commerce workers and dependents and R$ 160 for the general public. Matches run from 19:00 to 21:00 at the Sesc poliesportive court, with women’s finals on 27 August and men’s finals on the same date. The events aim to promote sport, integration and quality of life among participants.
