Sesc representatives conduct technical mission to France

A delegation from Sesc, including representatives from the Distrito Federal and Amapá regions, completed a technical mission to France to strengthen sports projects and seek international partnerships. The mission included visits to world-renowned institutions such as UNESCO, the National Institute of Sport, Specialization and Performance (INSEP), and CREPS Île-de-France.

During the visit, the group explored methodologies for high-performance training, the integration of science and technology in sports, and youth athlete development. At UNESCO, discussions focused on cooperation through the ‘Fit for Life’ initiative, which promotes physical activity and social inclusion.

Additionally, beach volleyball coach Elmer Calvis, who currently leads an Olympic project in France, visited young athletes at the Sesc Olímpico de Ceilândia in Brasília. Calvis, a former member of the Brazilian national beach volleyball technical commission, shared insights on career planning and high-performance preparation with local youth.
