Sesderma founder Gabriel Serrano disputes management by JB Capital

Gabriel Serrano, the founder of the dermocosmetic company Sesderma, has launched a public critique against JB Capital and its managers via social media. The dispute follows JB Capital's acquisition of a 50% stake in the company in July, a move intended to assist Sesderma during a pre-bankruptcy restructuring process.

Serrano specifically named Javier Botín, Rafael Garabito, and Miguel Azorín, alleging a lack of leadership and financial support. He claims that the current management has led to an 80% drop in group sales, which will impact the company's 2026 EBITDA. Serrano stated he will not remain passive regarding actions that risk the company's heritage and values, promising to release documentation to support his claims.

JB Capital has declined to comment on the social media posts. While Serrano remains a shareholder and board member, management control transitioned to the new partner following the investment.
