Manaus offers job vacancies and community services

Manaus is hosting several initiatives focused on employment and public services. Through Sine Manaus, the municipal government is offering hundreds of job vacancies across various sectors. On September 30, 786 positions were available, followed by 639 vacancies on October 1, including roles such as junior extruder operators.

Additionally, Sest Senat will host the ‘Portas Abertas 2026’ event in Manaus on October 8. This program provides free services in health—including dentistry, nutrition, and psychology—as well as leisure, sports, and professional qualification opportunities.

In the healthcare sector, the Municipal Health Council (CMS/Manaus) held an assembly to discuss the Psychosocial Care Network (Raps). The meeting, led by the Municipal Health Secretariat (Semsa), focused on the integration of services for mental health, specifically addressing support for individuals with suicidal ideation or substance abuse issues through various municipal and state health units.
